Christine has been massaging animals of all kinds from hamsters to horses, and has experience with both barnyard varieties as well as the domestic animal.

Christine Sutherland has been teaching Animal Massage for the past thirty-five years. She started her massage practice in her barnyard in the Kootenays of British Columbia with 60 chickens, three goats, two horses, four dogs, three cats, plus ducks and geese! With her self-subsistent lifestyle of the seventies, she acquired extensive experience with small domestic and non domestic animals. She was taught by the Doukhobours farmer’s drugless hands on techniques for all kinds of everyday complaints and crisis’s. She has studied with thoroughbred farms and veterinarians across the country. Christine has demonstrated and filmed at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, and has taught local kennel clubs and 4 H groups her message of hands on healing through animal massage and the power of touch. Christine is comfortable teaching in outdoor riding arenas, country fairs and television studios. She has taught animal massage to students of Chinese medicine, college groups, kennel clubs and adaptive care providers, vets and agility clubs, Humane Society and SPCA volunteers and events.
